Thermoplastic UD-Tapes

Thermoplastic UD-tape is a highly engineered advance continuous fiber reinforced thermoplastic UD tapes and laminates offered in a wide range of continuous fiber and resin combinations to increase stiffness / strength and impact resistance of the thermoplastic composite parts.

This tape Continuous Reinforced Thermoplastic UD tapes are available in rolls of unidirectional tape and multi-ply laminates. Multi-ply laminates can be made by consolidating Thermoplastic UD tapes in desired stacking orientation and sequence to form a thermoplastic composite sheet. These sheets can be used with HEXAPAN composite family products to make high impact resistant thermoplastic sandwich panels.

All these materials can be post-formed and co-molded with mixed thermoplastic materials in thermoforming and injection molding process to achieve part designs that meet the most demanding performance targets.

The most important thing is all these materials are easily recycled compared to Thermoset materials.
